Copyright and DMCA Policy

Users may not upload videos containing:

• copyrighted music;
• copyrighted video clips;
• sports broadcasts;
• movies, shows, or commercial footage;
• edited content owned by someone else;
• logos or brand content used in a misleading or infringing way;
• any other copyrighted material without permission.

Surf Score does not guarantee that copyrighted music or other infringing material will be blocked automatically.

If you believe content on Surf Score infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated copyright agent.

Your notice should include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it.
4. Your contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the copyright owner.

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the copyright agent. A counter-notice should include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for a judicial district where Surf Score may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.

Surf Score may suspend or terminate users who repeatedly upload infringing content or repeatedly receive valid copyright complaints.
