Children's Privacy Notice

Surf Score is not directed to children under 13 and may not be used by anyone under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, upload videos, or otherwise use the Service.

Surf Score does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information and terminate the account.

If a user is between 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction (typically 18), they may use Surf Score only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor 13 or older to use Surf Score, the parent or legal guardian confirms that they have reviewed and accept the Surf Score Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Video Upload Release on behalf of the minor, and accept responsibility for supervising the minor’s account, uploads, videos, profile, and public leaderboard participation.

Surf Score lets users upload surfing videos, receive entertainment-only algorithmic surf scores, and post videos and scores to leaderboards visible to other Surf Score app users. Personal information collected from any user may include:

• name;
• username;
• email address;
• profile photo;
• videos showing the user's face or body;
• surf score;
• leaderboard ranking;
• beach name;
• device or app information.

Surf Score videos are public within the app. Parents and guardians of minors 13 and older should not allow them to upload videos unless they are comfortable with other app users viewing the minor’s video, username, profile photo, score, leaderboard ranking, and related information.

Parents and guardians of a minor 13 or older, and anyone who believes a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, may contact dingrepairsd@gmail.com to:

• review a minor's personal information;
• request deletion of a minor's account, video, score, or personal information;
• refuse further use or collection of a minor's personal information;
• withdraw consent;
• report an account that appears to belong to a user under 13.

Surf Score does not currently show third-party ads and does not currently sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
